Veterinary waiting-room studio
Nature fields and quiet abstracts for veterinary reception — warm enough for a long sit, restrained enough for the brand on the door. Never cartoon pets.
The lobby is already carrying enough
Most veterinary waiting rooms still look like a leftover living room or the hallway to an exam table. A point of view — not a clinical claim
Pet owners arrive wound up. Fluorescent light, a breed poster, a print that belonged in someone’s house — the space often asks them to wait in a room that feels unfinished.
VetCalm specifies wall programs for the front desk and the exam-exit corridor. Palettes stay moss, clay, and cream. Subjects stay nature and color-field, never cartoon paws. We do not claim that art reduces animal anxiety, wait stress, or aggression. We make the room look like the care you already give.
Starter collection
Sized for the desk wall you see first and the corridor people walk last. Prices below are examples for planning — size, frame, and quantity are confirmed on your quote. Printed on demand; no inventory for you to store.

The set most managers ask for: a warmer piece at the desk, a quieter field on the way back from exam. Same moss, clay, and cream — not a cartoon kids’ wall and not a second living room.
Example 4-piece clinic set (two 24×16, one 30×20, one diptych) from $689 — labeled as an example. Your formal quote lists finish, hardware, and freight.
How it works
Send wall widths, ceiling height, paint chips, or a phone photo of reception. We reply with a hang suggestion — not a site visit unless you ask.
Start from the six designs here, or ask for a palette shift within the same family. We lock sizes and frame before anything is printed.
Each canvas is made to order through a generic print partner. No warehouse on your end. No VetCalm showroom to visit.
Cartons go to the practice address you give us. You (or your GC) hang. We include a simple hang map and a care card.
Shipping & care
We do not advertise overnight walls. Print-on-demand means the piece does not exist until you approve the quote.
Typical make-ready is about 5–10 business days after art and size are locked. Busy seasons run longer. The quote states a window, not a guarantee.
Ground carton to the contiguous U.S. is standard. Alaska, Hawaii, and suite-only buildings may need extra handling — tell us in the notes. Tracking is sent when the printer releases the shipment.
Canvas is sealed. Dust with a dry microfiber. Any disinfectant protocol is yours; the care card is guidance, not clinic policy. Frames are wipeable finishes — you supply the protocol. We do not hang in exam rooms as a clinical surface.
Studio notes
Identities stay with the practice. What we can share is the brief, the count, and how the wall changed. No invented doctor names.
Pacific Northwest
The front-desk wall still held a breed poster and a leftover residential print. We specified a meadow trio so the sightline from the door matched the paint already on the walls.

“We needed the exam-exit hall to feel finished at 2 a.m., not like a leftover waiting room. Same palette as the desk. No cartoons.”
4-piece desk + corridor set · staggered overnight delivery

Clay & moss diptych flanking the checkout counter. The GC hung from a map; we did not send a crew. No paw-print merch, no named endorsements.

The studio
VetCalm is a small studio that specifies wall programs for veterinary practices. We work in quiet abstracts and nature studies — pieces that belong on a reception wall without competing with your brand, your staff, or a stressed owner’s attention.
We are not a pet-gift shop with a clinic sideline. Fulfillment is generic print-on-demand: made when you order, packed, and sent to the clinic. There is no showroom tour and no “trusted by vets nationwide” line to cite. The work is the hang.
Questions
No. Pieces are printed when the quote is approved and shipped to your address. You are not stocking SKUs in a closet.
No. They are labeled as examples so you can plan a range. Frame, size, quantity, and freight are confirmed on the quote you receive after the form.
Within each design family, yes — note the undertone in the form. We will not reproduce cartoon pets, breed portraits, or another studio’s work.
No. We do not make that claim, and we will not write it into a proposal. This is décor for a room that already runs hot. Your protocols still run the floor.
We quote per address or as a matched pack. Same palette, same sizes, staggered ship dates if openings are phased. Tell us the count in notes.
Not as a default. Most practices hang with their GC or a local installer. We send a hang map (centerline, spacing) and a care card. If you need a referral in your city, ask — we do not guarantee one.
